Welcome to The Potting Shed, a garden centre and cafe on the edge of Etherow Country Park in Compstall.

We are open 9.30-4.30 Tuesday to Friday and 10 - 5 on weekends.

Our café menu uses the freshest seasonal ingredients, using local and home grown produce where we can. For example, we make our own ice cream using traditional methods and serve coffee roasted locally in the Peak District.
Our garden centre stocks a range of shrubs, flowering perennials, herbs, edibles and bedding plants. We also create made to order hanging baskets in the Summer and stock a wide range of Christmas trees and wreaths in Winter.
From wood-fired pizza & BBQ weekend specials, through to community events, venue hire and children's parties.
